NVIDIA DLSS 4 and Ray Tracing are redefining gameplay in 2025’s biggest titles, including Borderlands 4, Hell Is Us, and Fate Trigger. With 175+ games supporting NVIDIA DLSS 4, gamers experience breakthrough performance thanks to advanced AI-powered rendering. These innovations bring ray tracing and path tracing to upcoming releases like Resident Evil Requiem and Directive 8020, delivering immersive visuals for more dynamic gameplay.

“DLSS 4 and path tracing have become essential for modern PC gaming,” said Matt Wuebbling, NVIDIA’s vice president of global GeForce marketing. “Developers are using AI-powered rendering to unlock stunning visuals and performance, enabling gamers to experience the future of graphics today.”

DLSS 4 Powers Over 175 Games

Launched with the GeForce RTX 50 Series, DLSS 4 enhances gaming with Multi-Frame Generation, allowing up to three frames for every traditionally rendered frame. This boosts performance up to 8x over traditional rendering methods. Additionally, DLSS 4 supports DLSS Super Resolution, Ray Reconstruction, and NVIDIA Reflex, providing impressive gameplay performance for GeForce RTX 50 Series owners.

Titles launching with DLSS 4 and ray tracing at Gamescom 2025 include:

  • Directive 8020 and Resident Evil Requiem with DLSS 4 and path tracing
  • Black State, CINDER CITY, The Outer Worlds 2, Phantom Blade Zero, and others with DLSS 4 and ray tracing
  • Borderlands 4 and Fate Trigger, launching with DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation

GeForce NOW Expands with RTX Titles

Many of these new releases, including Borderlands 4 and CINDER CITY, will also be available on GeForce NOW, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming platform. This ensures cloud gamers enjoy RTX technology and DLSS 4 on any device, further extending the reach of next-gen graphics.

NVIDIA App Update and Global DLSS Overrides

The NVIDIA app update introduces several new features:

  • Global DLSS Overrides: Easily enable DLSS Multi-Frame Generation or DLSS Super Resolution across multiple supported titles.
  • Project G-Assist Upgrades: The AI model now uses 40% less memory, improving speed and accuracy in controlling RTX systems.
  • Legacy 3D Settings: Enhanced control panel settings for classic games, including anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing.

NVIDIA ACE Enhances Gaming with Voice Interactions

NVIDIA ACE, which powers natural NPC interactions in games like Krafton’s inZOI, is now featured in The Oversight Bureau. This voice-driven puzzle game lets players interact with characters using speech, with Narrative Engine technology providing dynamic responses based on context.

RTX Remix and Modding Community Expansions

RTX Remix continues to evolve, with modders using large language models to expand its capabilities. New features allow for realistic emissive effects and integration with Adobe Substance 3D for better texturing. The modding community has also expanded compatibility for many classic titles, including Call of Duty 4 and Bioshock.

GeForce RTX 50 Series Bundle with Borderlands 4

Celebrate Borderlands 4 with the new GeForce RTX 50 Series bundle. Purchases of qualifying systems and GPUs come with a copy of Borderlands 4 and the Gilded Glory Pack DLC, available through Sept. 22.
