Computex 2025 is just around the corner, and tech enthusiasts worldwide are gearing up for what promises to be a high-impact event. Hosted in Taipei, Taiwan, the global tech showcase will spotlight the latest in AI, next-gen chips, gaming hardware, and future mobility solutions.

The expo officially runs from May 20 to May 23, but the excitement begins earlier with a headline keynote from NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. It is scheduled for May 18 at 11PM ET / 8PM PT (May 19, 11AM Taiwan Time) at the Taipei Music Center. Moreover, a livestream will be available on both the Computex website and its official YouTube channel, allowing global viewers to tune in live.

AI Next: The Central Theme at Computex 2025

The official theme for Computex 2025 is “AI Next,” reflecting a clear shift toward artificial intelligence as the defining trend. As a result, we can expect a wide range of announcements related to AI in consumer electronics, robotics, mobility, and enterprise applications.

Importantly, NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang is expected to share major advancements in AI hardware and computing platforms. Later that day, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon will also take the stage to unveil on-device AI solutions, with a likely emphasis on mobile and edge computing.

What Major Brands Are Planning to Reveal

This year, over 1,400 exhibitors will be in attendance, including ASUS, Acer, AMD, Intel, and many others. Historically, these brands have used Computex to debut major product lines, and 2025 is expected to be no different.

Here’s what to watch for:

  • NVIDIA may announce updates to its AI and GPU ecosystem
  • AMD could introduce new Ryzen and EPYC processors
  • ASUS and Acer are likely to debut new AI-enabled laptops and gaming systems
  • Intel may reveal progress on its next-gen Meteor Lake and Lunar Lake platforms

Additionally, these companies will showcase advancements in cloud-edge integration, robotics, and autonomous vehicle technologies, all aligning with the broader theme of future mobility.

Keynotes and Schedule Details

To help you plan your viewing experience, here are the critical dates:

  • Jensen Huang Keynote (NVIDIA): May 18, 11PM ET / May 19, 11AM Taiwan Time
  • Cristiano Amon Keynote (Qualcomm): May 19 (Taiwan Time)
  • Main Exhibition Dates: May 20–23, 2025

Why Computex 2025 Matters More Than Ever

This year’s Computex 2025 comes at a crucial time for the tech industry. Companies are racing to implement AI across every sector — from personal computing and data centers to transportation and industrial automation. Therefore, the announcements made at Computex will shape the trajectory of innovation for the next year and beyond.

More importantly, with global supply chains stabilizing and consumer interest in AI-powered solutions surging, Computex serves as both a launchpad and a litmus test for the next wave of tech.
