The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card is reportedly set to launch on May 19, according to tech outlet VideoCardz. Sources say that NVIDIA has already contacted several board partners to prepare for the release.

Unlike previous launches, the RTX 5060’s review embargo will reportedly lift at the same time as the sales embargo. Therefore, buyers may need to rely on NVIDIA’s official benchmarks, with no independent reviews available before purchase.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 will feature the GB206 GPU and come with 3,840 CUDA cores. This positions it as the new entry-level model in the RTX 50 series. Although it retains 8GB of memory and a 128-bit memory bus like the RTX 4060, it offers notable improvements.

Compared to its predecessor, the RTX 5060 delivers a 25% increase in core count and a 65% boost in memory bandwidth. These enhancements suggest that users can expect a meaningful performance uplift without a significant price hike.

Pricing for the RTX 5060 is expected to be RMB 2,499, approximately $349. This keeps it affordable for gamers looking to upgrade to the RTX 50 series without breaking the bank.

Recently, NVIDIA has focused heavily on custom models for China, such as the RTX 4090D and RTX 5090D. However, the RTX 5060 launch will likely target a broader global audience, bringing next-generation performance to more users.

With the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 launch around the corner, excitement is building. Many will be watching closely to see how the new card performs once independent reviews become available.
