GeForce RTX 5050 graphics cards and laptops have officially launched, bringing DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, Reflex, ray tracing, and next-gen memory to the popular x50-class lineup. These GPUs offer a dramatic leap in performance and efficiency for gamers, students, and creators seeking high performance in compact systems.

NVIDIA Reflex is now featured in over 150 games, including top esports titles like Counter-Strike 2, Marvel Rivals, and Apex Legends, delivering low-latency, ultra-responsive gameplay. For single-player enthusiasts, DLSS 4 ensures smooth, high-fidelity ray-traced experiences in games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Avowed. With support across more than 800 titles, including over 125 with DLSS Multi Frame Generation, RTX 5050 makes high-end gaming accessible.

Affordable Performance for Everyone

GeForce RTX 5050 targets a wide range of users:

  • First-time RTX upgraders
  • Gamers upgrading from older GTX or RTX x50-class cards
  • Students who need a balance of school and play
  • Compact HTPC users who need full codec support and low power draw

As game environments grow larger and more detailed, performance demands rise. The RTX 5050 bridges the gap for users still on Pascal, Turing, or Ampere architectures, offering significantly better frame rates, AI rendering, and real-time ray tracing.

RTX 5050 Desktop Cards Launch in July

Starting in late July, RTX 5050 desktop GPUs will arrive in stores, priced from $249. Expect models from top brands like ASUS, MSI, ZOTAC, GIGABYTE, and others—available in both stock-clocked and factory-overclocked variants.

These cards are powered by:

  • 2,560 Blackwell CUDA Cores
  • 5th Gen AI Tensor Cores
  • 4th Gen Ray Tracing Cores
  • 9th Gen NVENC Encoder
  • 6th Gen NVDEC Decoder
  • 8GB GDDR6 VRAM (128-bit bus)
  • Base Clock: 2.31GHz
  • TDP: 130W (Single PCIe 8-pin)
  • Compatible with 550W power supplies

In modern games, RTX 5050 desktop GPUs are up to 60% faster than the RTX 3050 in rasterization and 4X faster in DLSS 4-enhanced titles. For users still on GTX 1650, the performance and feature jump is even more pronounced.

RTX 5050 Laptops Available Now

RTX 5050 laptops are now available globally starting at $999. These devices come pre-installed with factory drivers and can be as thin as 15mm and as light as 1.3kg, ideal for gaming on the go.

Each laptop GPU features:

  • 2,560 Blackwell CUDA Cores
  • 5th Gen Tensor Cores
  • 4th Gen Ray Tracing Cores
  • 9th Gen NVENC Encoder
  • 6th Gen NVDEC Decoder
  • 8GB GDDR7 memory @ 24 Gbps

Thanks to GDDR7, these laptops are up to 2X more energy efficient than GDDR6 models, enabling cooler, quieter systems with extended battery life.

In gaming benchmarks, RTX 5050 laptop GPUs are:

  • 2.4X faster in raster FPS
  • 4X faster in DLSS 4-enhanced titles
compared to RTX 3050 laptop GPUs.

Elevate Your Gaming with RTX 5050

The cseries democratizes cutting-edge gaming by bringing DLSS 4, Reflex, and AI-powered enhancements to a wider audience. Whether you’re building a desktop rig or buying a slim gaming laptop, the RTX 5050 offers the best-ever performance in its class.
